Karen’s Pumpkin Bread

Combine:
2-2/3 c brown sugar or honey
2/3 c butter
4 eggs
1 lb pumpkin
2/3 c water

Sift together:
3-1/2 c pastry flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1 Tblsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves

Chop:
2/3 c walnuts or pecans
2/3 c dates

Mix all ingredients. Grease 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1-1/4 hr.
